To describe the Maldives as a “holiday paradise” almost seems an understatement.

The Maldives archipelago (which is made up of almost 1,200 coral islands, forming 26 atolls) straddles the equator in the Indian Ocean, to the South West of Sri Lanka and in recent years it has become a “must go to” destination for many over 50’s.
